Miss Molly | Bubbly | MCC
Miss Molly | Bubbly | MCC
Fun, fresh and fruity - that’s what Miss Molly Bubbly is all about. But don’t think you’re sacrificing quality here - it’s a seriously well balanced dry Méthode Cap Classique (i.e. made in the same way as Champagne) of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Chenin Blanc, that's spent 15 months maturing on lees. Named after the winemaker’s loyal Weimaraner, this MCC will add a little sparkle to any occasion - whether it’s New Year’s Eve or just a casual night in with a couple of mates. If you’re having a party and need a couple cases you can look right here.
Nose and Palate
Fruit starts on from the moment you pop the cork. Aromas of crunchy apple and citrus with hints of biscuit, chestnut and honey on the nose. The fruit flavours follow through to the palate of this dry MCC to combine with smooth and refreshing bubbles.
Pairing
Miss Molly likes her Shellfish. Pop a bottle with some fresh oysters or a warm pot of mussels, or cut the heat of a spicy Sichuan meal.

About the Winery
Môreson is a boutique wine farm sitting in the stunning valley of Franschhoek. We discovered Môreson when we were floored (figuratively) tasting their Mercator Chardonnay in South Africa. In fact it’s this wine that helped secure their winemaker, Clayton Reabow, the Diners Club Winemaker of the Year award in 2018. Since then we’ve realised that Clayton works absolute wonders with this incredibly versatile grape. Oaked, unoaked, sparkling MCC, dessert wine - you name it, they do it with Chardonnay, and we can't get enough of it.
The Miss Molly label is named after one of the winemaker’s loyal dogs - a mischievous Weimaraner called Molly! Clayton created this label back in 2009 in the pursuit of perfecting Brut. The Miss Molly Bubbly has developed such a massive following over the years they now have to source more Chardonnay grapes from Robertson to supplement those grown in Franschhoek.
